Ayutthaya (Old historical Capital of Siam)

Situated 76 kms East of Bangkok is a great day out with lots to learn and see. It is possible to go in Minibus, car or train. We can also rent a minibus for 40 Euros for the day with a driver.

The Grand Palace

For 150 years was used as the residence of the current King of Thailand.
These temples are situated in the heart of Bangkok next to the river. Inside you will find the Emerald Buddha. More information can be found here: Bangkok Information

There are many other things such as boat tours, temple tours and tuktuk tours. But be very careful with the tuktuks as they will charge you a lot of money to take you to different locations that you don't want to go, as they receive vouchers for gasoline from the shops if they bring customers. It is much easier to catch a taxi or walk. And remember the final price on something is never the final price so always barter for the price.
